Mr. Linden has held several positions with Midas International since 1987, and has won some of their most prestigious awards pertaining to developing and delivering training. He has had the opportunity to write, produce, and act in over 50 training videos. The latest group of training videos has received over one million hits on You Tube and its related affiliates.
He received his teaching credentials from the University of Pittsburgh, maintains 15 ASE Certifications and sits on a number of ASE test writing committees and ASE test development committees.
Mr. Saxonberg has been with Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. for 23 years. He brings over 45 years of collective experience in automotive service and repair to the CCAR Board. Over his career, Mr. Saxonberg has served the industry in numerous management capacities including technical training design, service technologies, environmental compliance and advanced vehicle technologies. Mr. Saxonberg earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Business from the University of Denver.
Dr. Grogan joined MCC in 1985 as the Dean of Instruction at Penn Valley Community College, a post he held until 1989 when he became Dean of Student Development and Support Services at Longview. In 1998, Dr. Grogan was named to his current position as Longview’s President.
Prior to coming to MCC, Dr. Grogan taught political science and served as Assistant Dean of the college at Lycoming College in Pennsylvania. Dr. Grogan has a Bachelor’s Degree in government from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine; a Master’s Degree in political science from Arizona State University; and a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Joe has been a passionate advocate for the automotive aftermarket for nearly three decades. His experience includes retail shop management, franchise operations, government relations, regulatory compliance, and consumer advocacy.
In his current position as Director of Administration, Joe helps guide retailers and other automotive service providers in developing industry standards that strengthen the relationship between the motorist and the auto repair industry.
Throughout his career,Joe has been active on the board of numerous organizations including AMRA, Automotive Undercar Trade Organization, Car Care Professionals Network, AAIA, and Southern Illinois University (Carbonale) Automotive Technology.
