Charlie Ayers
President and Chief Executive Officer
Charlie Ayers is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CCAR. He has a broad and diverse background in the automotive industry, with 25 years of leadership experience in customer service, mystery shopping, real estate, Regulatory & Governmental affairs, and overall business management.
Prior to joining the CCAR team Ayers was the Board Chairman, a position that he also held with the Motorist Assurance Program (MAP). He started his automotive career as a technician in the early 80s and has been certified by ASE since 1991. Charlie served as a volunteer arbitrator for the Chicago Better Business Bureau for 10 years, and completed his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees at Northern Illinois University.
Rod Enlow
Vice President – Industry Relations
As CCAR VP of Industry Relations Rod brings over 35 years of industry experience to work with him every day. Since his appointment in 2004 Rod has worked tirelessly to grow CCAR into the vibrant educational resource it is today.
Rod knows your business inside out. As President of RENLOW Auto Technical Consulting, Rod is a frequent speaker at NACE, CIC and other auto industry conferences. He retired from USAA Property and Casualty Insurance in 2003 as Director of Auto Industry Affairs, USAA’s primary liaison with the collision repair industry. Rod also built the business plan for USAA’s world-class Auto Technical Training Center and became its’ first Director of Operations for The Claims Training Division of Training and Development.
Rod’s education began at San Antonio College and General Motors Institute, (GMI), now Kettering University, Flint, MI. and finished up at the Darden School of Executive Management. But it’s not all business for Rod, he also plays keyboards, drums and guitar and belongs to a classic country-dance band called “Medina Mud” where he plays rhythm and lap steel guitar.
Kelly Zeih
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Kelly assists with the maintenance and overall daily function of one of the largest automotive education programs in the world, while also finding time to field individual calls from shop owners, techs and automotive instructors.
Prior to joining CCAR, Kelly held positions in the fields of real estate sales, purchasing, inventory replenishment/analysis, and small business ownership. Kelly was also trained and performed the duties of a Hazwoper First Responder in an asphalt/chemical manufacturing facility. For questions regarding operations at CCAR-GreenLink, contact Kelly.
Bobbi Jo Heineck
Manager of Operations
BJ joins CCAR with 24 years industry experience working the Customer Repair Program at American Family Insurance. She gained her experience in training and development from working with the auto industry in training body shops, estimating, training agents and providing customer service.
