Louisville, KY was once again the site for SkillsUSA and its 54th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference, the world’s largest showcase of skilled trades. Quality career and technical education were the centerpiece of the conference. More than 18,000 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from 600 national corporations, trade associations, businesses and labor unions participated. The highlight was the annual SkillsUSA Championships on June 27-28 with 102 hands-on skill and leadership competitions.
CCAR staff were onsite as Lead Judges in the Automotive Service Technology competition, where six (6) contestants were awarded medals at the closing ceremonies on Friday, June 29th. The medalists are;
